The Zen Wellness Resort is a Nile-side luxury wellness destination in New Aswan, Egypt, combining boutique hospitality with clinically supervised regenerative medicine. Positioned as Egypt’s first fully integrated wellness destination, it was nominated for Egypt’s Best Wellness Retreat at the World Spa Awards 2025.

Is The Zen Wellness Resort open now, or still under development?

The resort is fully operational, with bookable rooms and villas, an active reservations app, and functioning restaurants and clinical programs.

How many rooms and villas does the resort have?

240 rooms and suites, plus 20 Nile-facing private villas — 260 keys in total, set on roughly 74,000 square meters of riverfront at Gazirat Bahrif, New Aswan.

What dining options are available?

Four outlets: Juzoor (farm-to-table, all-day), Well-being Lounge (all-day indoor/outdoor dining), Pool Nutrition Bar (smoothies and light bites), and 24-hour in-room dining. A fifth concept, Z Kitchen, is in development and not yet open.

Can guests book clinical or medical programs during their stay?

Yes. MGM Wellness Clinic operates on-site with 11 specialties, and guests can book signature 1–5 day programs such as the Longevity Program, Burnout Recovery, or Holistic Detox alongside their resort stay.

Does the resort offer wedding or corporate event space?

Yes, through The Zen Promenade event venue and dedicated meetings-and-events programming, alongside a destination wedding offering.

Is the resort part of a larger group?

Yes. The Zen Wellness Resort is part of the MGM Health & Wellness ecosystem, alongside MGM Wellness Clinic, MGM Retreats, and Juzoor.
